LIVING WITH ELECTRIC.
EPISODE 1: HOWARD'S MINI ELECTRIC JOURNEY.

At Sandal MINI, we’re all about celebrating the electrifying experiences of our MINI Electric owners, and what better way to kick off our ‘Living Electric’ series than with the brilliant Howard?

Howard, a dedicated city councillor and long-time MINI fan, took the plunge into the world of electric driving—and he’s never looked back. His MINI Electric fits seamlessly into his daily life, making those crisp winter mornings a breeze with effortless pre-conditioning and smooth home charging via his Pod Point. It’s not just about convenience; it’s about making a difference. As someone who actively promotes green energy initiatives, Howard is proud to drive a car that aligns with his values.

From First Drive to Forever Drive.

Howard had never driven an automatic before purchasing his MINI Electric, but now? He can’t imagine going back to a manual! Describing the driving experience as ‘like a go-kart,’ he loves the responsive handling and zippy acceleration that makes every journey feel exciting.

Charging at home? A total game-changer. With his Pod Point home charger, topping up his MINI Electric is quick, easy, and hassle-free, just plug it in overnight and wake up ready to go. And the best part? His electricity bill has even gotten cheaper since making the switch.

The Sandal MINI Experience.

When Howard picked up his MINI Electric, it wasn’t just any ordinary car collection day. Five days before Christmas, he arrived to find his new MINI waiting for him—complete with a big red bow on the front! The hassle-free handover made his experience at Sandal MINI even more special, reinforcing why he keeps coming back (this is his third MINI!).

Goodbye Range Anxiety, Hello Effortless Driving.

A common concern for many first-time EV drivers is range anxiety—but not for Howard. He assures us that driving electric is second nature now, and with the ever-growing charging infrastructure, it’s easier than ever to stay charged up. Home charging is quick, seamless, and simply part of his routine.

And let’s not forget the compliments! Howard gets so many positive comments while out and about in his MINI Electric—because driving sustainably doesn’t just feel good, it looks good too.
